Garth Stewart is a Director with Advaion providing business advisory services and has over fifteen years of experience. He has led SOX implementation engagements to identify company-wide risks, developed the related risk mitigation strategies along with management and implemented procedures (including training of personnel) to reduce the identified risks to an acceptable level. He has worked extensively on streamlining business processes and workflows and with manual and information system controls as a part of providing business advisory services.
Garth was previously with KPMG where he was responsible for providing audit and advisory services to both publicly and privately held clients. He was also a member of the Area Assurance Support Team to train and support local offices in new audit methodologies. Garth graduated from Florida International University with a both a Masters and Bachelors of Accounting.
